This is Not a Dress Rehearsal
Breaking the Script
My story doesn't start with a business plan. It starts with survival.
I was born in a refugee camp, in the heart of the jungle, as my family was escaping the Cambodian Genocide. Like so many others, we survived the unthinkable to find a new life. We were survivors before we ever had a chance to dream.
Growing up in Quebec, we knew one script: the immigrant hustle. Go to school, get the best grades, become an engineer or a doctor. It's a good script, written to create safety. Maybe you've followed a similar script yourself.
I did. I got into engineering. But my spirit fought against it. I was selling my art, shooting photos, breakdancing in shows, serving in the military, a hustler trying to fit into a box that was slowly crushing me. So I dropped out.
Don't get me wrong, I think school is awesome. It's where you make connections and build the foundation for your craft. But it just wasn't my path. My education was waiting for me out in the world. The goal was never to stop learning, just to change the classroom.
01 // The Highs
I went on a quest. I devoured books, flew to seminars, and did whatever it took to reprogram my mind, not just for wealth, but for freedom.
And it worked. My life exploded with possibility. I knew how to earn money on my own terms. But my real education began on the road. I learned how to build a life from scratch not just once, but four times over; in Australia, New Zealand, Toronto, and then again here in Quebec. I became a veteran of the restart. This journey taught me more about resilience than any classroom ever could. Every challenge was a training ground, preparing me for the fight of my life.
02 // The Fall
Then, I came home. And I got knocked out.
If you've ever felt like you were building something only to see it vanish overnight, I know exactly how that feels. Trusting the wrong people, I was scammed. Extorted. My own greed and the challenges of the moment led to my downfall. In a flash, everything I had built: my savings, my assets. Gone.
I've known poverty. I know the sound of parents fighting over bills. I know the sting of "we can't afford it." But this was a different kind of darkness. It was the emptiness of having reached for something and having it all turn to ash in your hands. At some point, I even had dark thoughts.
But I made it back alive. I survived.
03 // The Climb Back
And that's where this story really begins.
⚡ STATUS: I clock into 9-to-5 and build this ecosystem by night. S.C.O.U.T., Kompul, ARSITECH. Brick by brick.
This website, this mission, and S.C.O.U.T. They are forged in that fire. This is my "getting back up" story, happening in real-time. I'm sharing it all: the wins, the failures, the strategies, the unfiltered lessons. I know I'm not the only one fighting to rebuild. I'm building the tools I wish I had, for the people like you who are on their own journey back to strength.
The Equations of Options
Money doesn't buy happiness. I'm aware of that.
But it buys options. It buys peace of mind. It buys the power to say "no" to the life you don't want and "yes" to the one you do.
This is my compass. If it points in the same direction as yours, then you're in the right place.
S.C.O.U.T. is the first step on the trail. A tool to help us find clarity, build habits, and get back up stronger than before.
The Code of the Expedition
Radical Self-Reliance
We believe in building the skills (financial, practical, and mental) to depend on ourselves first.
Action Over Theory
We value practical knowledge gained from real-world experience over abstract theory. We are doers.
The Journey is the Destination
We embrace the process, the struggle, and the lessons learned along the way. Success is not a finish line.
